What Is The Sentence?

As you know we are talking about Sentence And Their Types. While speaking or writing something, we use these words in groups. Such a group of words that conveys complete sense is called a sentence.

کچھ بولتے یا لکھتے ہوئے ہم کچھ الفاظ کا استعمال کرتے ہیں۔یہ الفاظ مجموعے کی صورت میں ہوتے ہیں۔تو الفاظ کا ایک مجموعہ جو ایک مکمل مفہوم ادا کرتا ہو جملہ کہلاتا ہے۔

• Examples

We do our work.	ہم اپنا کا م کرتے ہیں
She cleans her home.	وہ اپنا گھر صاف کرتی ہے۔
They Play football.	وہ فٹ بال کھیلتے ہیں۔
Please Shut The door!	مہربانی کر کے دروازہ بند کر دیں!

Kinds Of Sentences?

According to meaning, there are five Kinds of Sentences.     بلحاظ معنی جملے کی پانچ اقسام ہیں

• Assertive or declarative Sentences?

Both assertive and declarative sentences are the same. They are two different terms used to describe the same kind of sentence. These sentences make statements. These statements may include affirmative or negative.

اس طرح کے جملے کوئی خبر یا بیان دیتے ہیں۔یہ بیانیہ جملہ مثبت یا منفی جملے پر مشتمل ہو سکتا ہے۔

• Examples Of Affirmative مثبت

She reads a book.	وہ کتا ب پڑھتی ہے۔
They play hockey in the ground.	وہ گراؤنڈ میں ہاکی کھیلتے ہیں۔
I visited my village last week..	میں نے  پچھلے ہفتے اپنے گاؤں  کی سیر کی۔

• Examples Of Declarative نیگیٹو

We do not write a letter.	ہم خط نہیں لکھتے ہیں۔
She does not do her homework.	وہ اپنا ہوم ورک نہیں کرتی ہے۔
They are not show their ID Card.	وہ اپنا شناختی کارڈ نہیں دیکھاتے ہیں۔

• Interrogative Sentences?

These sentences ask questions. These sentences may start with a helping verb( do, does, is, was, well, etc.) or WH family words ( Why, When, Where, etc. )

یہ ایسے جملے ہوتے ہیں جو سوال پوچھنے کے لیے استعمال ہوتے ہیں۔ یہ سوالیہ جملے امدادی فعل سےیاشروع ہو سکتے ہیں۔

• Examples

Do you like mangoes?	کیا آپ آم پساند کرتے ہیں؟
Was he doing his work?	کیا وہ اپنا کا م کرتا تھا؟
When will he come to us?	وہ ہمارے پاس کب ائیں گے؟

• Imperative Sentences حکمیہ

Imperative sentences are the boss of the grammar world. They tell someone what to do. This kind of sentence expresses commands, requests, or entreaty.

ایسے جملے جن میں کوئی حکم یا درخواست یا التجا مشورہ یا کوئی تجویز پا ئی جائے حکمیہ جملے کہلاتے ہیں۔

• Examples
  

  Please help me.	براہ مہربانی میری مدد کیجیے۔
  Do not go out.	باہر نا جائیں
  Sit down!	بیٹھ جائیں۔
  Keep quiet!	خاموشی اختیار کیجیے۔
  Have mercy on us!	ہم پر رحم کیجیے۔

• Exclamatory Sentences استعجابیہ جملے   

These sentences express sudden or strong feelings. They light up a sentence with strong emotions and excitement.

ان جملوں میں بے سا ختہ یا شدید قسم کے جزبات یا احساسات کا اِظہار ہو تا ہے۔

• Examples

What a shame!	کتنے شرم کی بات ہے!
What a beautiful scene this is!	کتنا پیارا منظر ہے!
How beautifully she has sung!	اس نے کتنا خوبصورت گایا ہے!

• Optative Sentences دُعائیہ جملے

Optative sentences are like wish wishers in the world of grammar. These sentences express wish, hope or desire. So next time you want to wish someone well, express a hope, or maybe even deliver a playful (and not too mean!) curse, reach for an optative sentence!

ایسے جملے جن میں کوئی دعا خواہش یا امید کا اظہار کیا جائے دعائیہ جملے کہلاتے ہیں۔

• Examples

May god helps you!	خدا  آپکی مدد کرے!
I wish you were here!	کاش آپ یہاں ہوتے!
Would that I were a king!	کاش میں بادشاہ ہوتا !
May you succeed!	خدا کرے آپ کامیاب ہوں!
What a pity!	کتنے افسوس کی بات ہے!
