What Is Present Perfect Tense?
This tense is used for sentences in which the action has recently been completed. It tells you something is finished, but when it happened isn’t the important part. And yes, it says that the work does not take long to complete
یہ ٹینس ان جملوں کے لیے استعمال ہوتا ہے جن میں کام حال ہی میں مکمکل ہوا ہوتا ہے۔ یہ Tense مکمل وقت کے بارے میں بات کرنے کا ایک خاص طریقہ ہے۔ یہ Tense آپ کو بتاتا ہے کہ کام مکمل ہو چکا ہے لیکن یہ نہیں بتاتا کہ کام کب مکمل ہوا تھا۔ اور ہاں اتنا ضرور بتاتا ہے کہ کام کو مکمل ہوے اتنا ذیادہ وقت نہیں گزرا ہو ہوتا۔
Types Of Tenses

اُردو میں پہچان
اس Tense میں جملوں کے آخر میں ” چکا ہے ” “چکی ہے ” چکے ہیں ” چکی ہیں ” لیا ہے ” لی ہے ” کیا ہے ” جیسے الفاظ آتے ہیں۔
Positive Sentences
اس Tense میں جملے بناتے وقت Verb کی تیسری فارم کا استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔
اس Tense میں دو Helping Verbs یعنی Has or Have کا استعمال کیا جاتا ہے۔
اگر جملہ میں کسی شخص کا نام یا کوئی Singular Noun He, She, It آئے تو ہم ” Has “کا استعمال کرتے ہیں۔
اگر جملہ میں کوئی Plural Noun You, We, They آئے تو ہم ” Have “کا استعمال کرتے ہیں۔
Structure
Subject + Has/Have + 3rd Form Of Verb + Object
Examples
| I have eaten breakfast. | میں نے ناشتہ کر لیا ہے۔ |
| They have visited Multan Fort. | وہ ملتان قلعہ دیکھ چکے ہیں۔ |
| We have learned a new song. | ہم نے ایک نیا گانا سیکھ لیا ہے۔ |
| She has written two novels. | اس نے دو ناول لکھ لیے ہیں۔ |
| You have played cricket all afternoon. | تم نے پوری دوپہر کرکٹ کھیلی ہے۔ |
| The children have finished their homework. | بچے اپنا کام مکمل کر چکے ہیں۔ |
| Many people have traveled to space. | بہت سے لوگ خلا میں سفر کر چکے ہیں۔ |
| I have always loved mangoes. | مجھے ہمیشہ آم پسند آئے ہیں۔ |

Negative Sentences
When we make negative sentences in the present perfect tense we have One change only!
اس Tenseمیں منفی جملے بناتے وقت Has or Have کے بعد ” Not” آتا ہے۔
Structure
Subject + Has/Have + Not + 3rd Form Of Verb + Object
Examples
| I Have not seen your House. | میں نے آپکا گھر نہیں دیکھا ہے۔ |
| You have not answered correctly. | تم نے صیح جواب نہیں دیا ہے۔ |
| I have not cheated you. | میں نے تمہیں دھوکہ نہیں دیا ہے۔ |
| I haven’t seen that movie yet. | میں نے ابھی تک وہ فلم نہیں دیکھی ہے۔ |
| She hasn’t had lunch yet. | اس نے ابھی تک لنچ نہیں کیا ہے |
| You haven’t called your parents today. | آپ نے آج اپنے والدین کو فون نہیں کیا ہے۔ |
| I haven’t been to Europe before. | میں پہلے یورپ نہیں گیا/گئی ہوں۔ |
| We haven’t received a reply to our email. | ہمیں ابھی تک اپنے ای میل کا جواب نہیں ملا ہے۔ |

Interrogative Sentences
On the other hand, when we make interrogative sentences we also have one change we add has or have at the start of the sentence.
سوالیہ جملہ بناتے وقت ہم Subject سے پہلے ہم Has or Have کا استعمال کرتے ہیں۔ مطلب جملہ Has or Have سے شروع ہوتا ہے۔
