What is Past Perfect Tense In Urdu?
This tense is used for sentences in which the action has taken place in the past. The impression given in these sentences is that the work was done a long time ago. This tense is also used for things that are in an imperfect state before a certain moment in the past.
یہ ٹینس اُن جملوں کے لیے استعمال ہوتا ہےجن میں کام ماضی میں مکمل ہو چکا ہوتا ہےاُ ن جملوں میں تاثر یہ ملتا ہے کہ کام بہت عرصہ پہلے ہو چکا ہوتا تھا۔ یہ ٹینس ان چیزوں کے لیے بھی استعمال ہوتا ہے جو ماضی میں کسی خاص لمحے سے پہلے نامکمل حالت میں ہوں۔

اُردو میں پہچان
ان جملوں کے آخر میں” چکا تھا ” چکی تھی ” چکے تھے “کیا تھا ” لیا تھا ” جیسے الفاظ آتے ہیں۔
- We use 3rd Form of verb in this tense.
اس ٹینس میں ہم ورب کی تیسری فارم استعمال کرتے ہیں
- We use helping verb ” Had ” in this Tense to make sentences.
اس ٹینس میں ہم ہیلپینگ ورب یعنی ہیڈ کا استعمال کرتے ہیں۔

when we make positive sentence we use Had and 3rd form of verb.

Negative Sentences
When we make negative sentences in the past perfect Tense we have one change that is we used the Not after the helping verb Had.
Structure
Subject + Had + Not + 3rd Form of Verb + Object

Interrogative Sentences
When we make interrogative sentences in the past perfect Tense we have one change: we use the Had before the subject.

Had + Subject + 3rd Form of Verb + Object
